Beyond Series A: The Challenges of Scaling Up in 2022
Breakfast, networking and panel discussion at Arboretum Club, London
New date for this event will be:
Tuesday 20th September, 8am-11am (panel discussion 9am – 10.30am)
Startups and scaleups are facing challenging times. Having experienced a golden age of investment over the last few years, there are now even more businesses competing for growth stage funding in order to scale, or who have secured the next stage of funding and need to grow.
But rapidly changing economic conditions mean that it will become tougher for many to secure that next level of funding as investors become more cautious. Those who have recently secured investment face a variety of challenges to growing their businesses including increased costs, rising interest rates, tighter margins, a shortage of talent and supply chain issues.
So how do you secure the right investors and scale a business in these uncertain times? Our panel, who have substantial experience of both funding and growing startups and scaleups, will be discussing the following:
- What will those looking for Series B and beyond need to do to attract investment now?
- What support should you be looking for from your investors?
- What will be the financial and operational challenges of scaling up over the next 12 months?
- Who do you need on your team to secure funding and successfully scale a business?
