On Wednesday 22nd June 2016 Talentarc in partnership with the IAA are in Cannes to bring you an event not to be missed – “Leading Creative Talent”. An interactive panel session to challenge your thinking about how to motivate, manage and maintain inspiring creative work.
Creative talent is critical to the media and marketing services sector. However there isn’t always an easy marriage between corporate goals and creative ambitions. This session will look at how leaders try to inspire and lead creative people, whilst also meeting critical business objectives.

Based in Paris he oversees all business operations for Maker EMEA. Maker is the Global leader in short-form video, with 60,000 independent creator partners from more than 100 countries.
Before joining Maker, Robbie worked at Google based in Paris and before that London, where he occupied 3 different positions. Head of Branding & YouTube Solutions across, South & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Head of Mobile, SEEMEA and Head of Mobile France, during his 4.5 year tenure.
CEO of Taylor James, a creative production agency based in London and NY.
Glen founded Taylor James in 1999 and is the passionate and dynamic CEO of the company. As a true creative entrepreneur and visionary, Glen has led the growth of Taylor James from its inception, through to a world renowned retouch studio to the present with TJ positioned as the world’s first truly ‘integrated production studio’. Glen’s strategic approach has seen him develop a multi-faceted company that is positioned for further growth and global expansion.
Glen has a deep understanding of all disciplines of the business and ensures the overarching principals of Taylor James are upheld and delivered. Glen continues to take Taylor James in innovative new directions, whilst challenging the industry to strive for improvement.

Rob is a globally experienced leader in advertising and creativity, focused on transformation, collaboration and growth. He’s an avid self-innovator and seriously fascinated by what’s next. He was Regional Creative Director of FCB Asia Pacific, moving on to become Chief Creative Officer of Draftfcb Chicago in 2007, leading the 1300 person office through 3 years of unprecedented growth.

Facilitating the panel and MD of Talentarc. Simon has a background in business services with roles across business development, marketing, and M&A for a US listed group. In 2007 he established Talentarc an executive search business specialising in the marketing services, media and tech sectors, working with clients to help them source, retain and develop leadership talent. Additionally he is an active investor in the creative, tech and talent sectors.

The key focus areas will be:
– How to motivate creatives to produce inspired work, without boundaries – within the constraints of budget and with eye on the bottom line.
– Whilst conflict may be inevitable, is it also a spark for creativity?
– Instilling team (and more challenging still, “corporate”) values in a field that is often more about the individual.
– Learnings from creative people moving into management themselves – what are the key benefits and can this create conflict (both personal and organisational)?
